Quick update on Roxy this morning. Went home at lunch yesterday and she pulled her bandage off. The good news is she didn't damage her staples. The doctor said that its best the bandage is off so it can get some air. Here is what her leg looks like without the bandage:
Seeing those staples just broke my heart into pieces. This morning I tried putting one of those cones on her while she was in her crate. Oh goodness that was not pretty. She just wasn't having it. We went back and forth for about 20 minutes. I finally gave up because I needed to get to work. So this is where Roxy is spending her day:
Yep that is my spoiled dog laying under my desk at work. Thankfully I work for a laid back company and they don't mind. So Roxy will be chilling with me today. Guess she got what she wanted, no cone and crate free!!
First I am sad my yesterday comment didn't post yesterday! I was having laptop issues! We are the same person! Our musical preference is the EXACT same!! Ps I had my first full out car groove session to Suit and Tie today!
ReplyDeleteHer little sad face and big puppy eyes is breaking my heart! Tell her I can relate I've gone through the knee surgery thing too, thankfully I didn't have to have a cone or be locked in a crate! lol
I did have an immobilizing leg brace though, all summer long! lol

Suit and Tie has definitely grown on me. It kicked in after I saw the video. I know there wasn't much to the video but sometimes a music video can change how I feel about a song. Does that make sense? I'm sure Roxy is pretty jealous that you didn't go through the same treatment as her when you had surgery. She absolutely hates wearing her cone, but its for the best. The staples will come out on February 4th and hopefully we will be done with the cone at that point!! xoxo
